This year I've learnt about The Virtual College. I've always preferred to teach face to face, and I was afraid of the virtual experience. However, I've learned that the interaction with students online is also very interesting. Some of the benefits of teaching online are:
-Online teaching allows for 24/7 access to class materials, online classrooms etc.
-Online instructors working for colleges or universities whose libraries have electronic collections have 24/7 access to business research, online journals and magazines and often online or e-books.
-Using the Internet as a classroom provides the instructor the ability to conduct classes with students from across multiple time zones, without having to travel.
